WSOP to roll out Dealer Rating System on WSOP Live for Las Vegas

The World Series of Poker says players will be able to rate dealers directly in the WSOP Live app, with results shared internally and tied to rewards during the series. The goal is to create faster feedback loops and raise service standards across the floor.

The WSOP is introducing a Dealer Rating System for the Las Vegas summer series through the WSOP Live app. According to the WSOP, players will be able to rate the dealer at their table, and those ratings will be shared internally with tournament staff throughout the festival.

In a room as large and fast-moving as the WSOP, feedback usually arrives late, filtered, or not at all. A structured in-app rating tool is a simple idea, but it could change how quickly floor leadership identifies issues like procedural mistakes, inconsistent pace, or communication problems during key stages of an event.

Our Dealer Rating System is coming to Vegas! Using the new Dealer Rating System on WSOP Live… Players can rate the dealer at their table. Ratings are shared internally with tournament staff. Dealers with the highest ratings will earn rewards throughout the series.

The WSOP also said that top-rated dealers will earn rewards, which adds an incentive layer beyond pure evaluation. If implemented cleanly, that could encourage better table management during long stretches, especially in high-traffic events where players often experience multiple dealer changes per level.

For players, the biggest question will be how the system accounts for context. A dealer can only work with the players and pace at the table, and ratings can sometimes reflect frustrations with bad beats rather than performance. Still, consistent patterns across many tables can be a useful signal, and the WSOP framing suggests the data will be used as operational input rather than public shaming.

With the Las Vegas schedule approaching, the announcement is a reminder that the WSOP is continuing to invest in the Live app as an on-site product, not just a reporting feed. If the Dealer Rating System proves effective this summer, it would not be surprising to see similar tools rolled out to other large live series.
