The WSOP is rolling out its Dealer Rating System in Las Vegas for the upcoming summer series. In a high-engagement update, the WSOP said the new feature will be available on WSOP Live and lets players rate the dealer at their table, with those ratings shared internally with tournament staff.

The concept is straightforward: after interacting with a dealer, players can leave feedback directly in the WSOP Live experience. The WSOP says the scores will not be public-facing, but they will be visible to tournament operations, which could help floor staff spot staffing issues faster, identify consistently strong performers, and intervene when a table is having repeated procedural problems.
In practice, this kind of lightweight feedback loop matters because dealers are a huge part of how smoothly a tournament feels. Pace of play, consistent rulings, clear bet sizing, and firm control of the action all influence the player experience, especially in long daily sessions. A system that surfaces patterns across hundreds of tables could help WSOP make adjustments during the series rather than waiting for post-event reviews.
The WSOP also noted that dealers with the highest ratings will earn rewards throughout the series. Incentives can be a double-edged sword, but if the program is managed well it could be a meaningful way to recognize top dealers while giving staff another data point to pair with supervisor notes and table-change logs.
For players, the key will be whether the flow is quick and fair. If the rating prompt is simple and consistent, it may become a small but useful tool for improving the day-to-day experience across the biggest live poker festival of the year.
