The World Series of Poker is adding real dollars to its new Dealer Rating System. WSOP said it will put $100,000 in rewards behind dealer performance this summer, with payouts tied to how players rate dealers inside the WSOP Live app.
The pitch is simple: give players an easy way to provide feedback, then incentivize consistency across dozens of bracelet events. WSOP outlined a per-event reward structure of $500 to the top-rated dealer, $300 for second, and $200 for third, effectively creating a small bonus pool every time a bracelet is awarded.

For players, the practical impact could be smoother games and more accountability at the table, especially during long days when pace of play becomes a major factor. For dealers, it is an unusually direct financial incentive in an ecosystem where recognition is often informal and feedback is hard to collect at scale.
It is also another signal that WSOP Live is becoming more than just a schedule and chip-count utility. The app now sits in the middle of the on-site experience: updates, information, and now a mechanism that can directly influence who gets rewarded for handling the biggest moments of the summer.
