02 What TigerGaming actually is - and who it is for

TigerGaming is the international-facing skin of the Chico Poker Network, a three-skin operation that also runs BetOnline and Sportsbetting.ag for US players. Founded in 1999 and currently operated by Thot Management B.V. under a Curacao license (OGL/2024/1132/0522), it is one of the longest-running grey-market poker rooms still open to most of the world. US players cannot join TigerGaming directly - they access the same shared player pool through BetOnline or Sportsbetting.ag instead.

The room's core identity is recreational-first. The lack of flat high-percentage rakeback and the below-average software aesthetics actively repel the kind of volume-grinding regulars who hollow out player pools elsewhere. The result is a table ecology that skews toward casual depositors, sportsbook crossovers, and crypto users who found their way to poker through TigerGaming's betting product.
