X API outage leaves poker Twitter quiet in our daily tracker

Our automated tracker received zero influencer and room tweets overnight after repeated API errors. Here is what happened and what it means for daily poker news coverage.

PokerInfluencers.com recorded zero poker tweets in the last collection window after the X API returned repeated errors across every monitored account. That means no tournament updates, hand histories, room announcements, or creator drops made it into today’s feed, even though the poker world kept moving.

Our pipeline checks 146 poker influencers and 21 operator accounts each night and ranks the day’s most-engaged posts for story selection. Overnight, every influencer request failed, and a subset of room requests also hit rate limits. The end result was an empty tweet set and no usable topics to summarize.

For readers, the key takeaway is simple: today’s site update is a coverage gap caused by data access issues, not a sudden stop in poker news. For the next run, the tracker will attempt the same collection process again. If the outage persists, we will pivot to alternative public sources for major tournament results and room announcements until normal access is restored.

If you are an operator or creator who wants to make sure your big announcements are included regardless of platform availability, consider mirroring key updates on additional channels (site posts, YouTube descriptions, or official press pages). We will continue monitoring and will resume normal tweet-driven coverage as soon as the feed is healthy.
