Triton Poker Returns to Montenegro in May - Buy-Ins Start at $25K

The Super High Roller Series goes back to where it all started, with NLH and PLO events running May 13-28 alongside the flagship Triton Invitational.

Triton Poker is heading back to Montenegro this May for the Super High Roller Series, returning to the country where the brand first made its name. The series runs May 13-28 with No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha events, buy-ins ranging from $25,000 to $150,000, and the signature Triton Invitational anchoring the schedule.

Back to where it all began. This May, the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series returns to its roots in Montenegro. NLH and PLO. Buy-ins from $25K to $150K. The ever-iconic Triton Invitational. The stage is set.

The Montenegro stop represents a homecoming for Triton, which built its reputation hosting ultra-high-stakes events in destinations that match the exclusivity of the buy-ins. After stops in places like Madrid, Vietnam, and the Bahamas, the return to Montenegro signals a deliberate nod to the series' origins.

The timing is notable. The poker calendar for the second half of 2026 is stacking up fast. WSOP has already opened media credential applications for the 57th Annual World Series of Poker, with a May 8 deadline for press access. Between Triton in Montenegro and the WSOP approaching in Las Vegas, the next six weeks represent the densest stretch of high-profile poker on the calendar.

For the super high roller circuit, Triton Montenegro will be one of the last major stops before the WSOP Main Event dominates the conversation. Expect to see the usual mix of hedge fund players, crypto founders, and professional grinders competing for seven-figure prize pools in one of Europe's most scenic settings.
