Tony Dunst Is Bringing the WPT Meet Up Game to Hard Rock on April 29

The fan-facing community event is set for April 29 at SHR Hollywood, coinciding with the WPT Showdown Championship TV final table

Tony Dunst has confirmed that the next WPT Meet Up Game will take place on April 29 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, running during the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown. The date is not coincidental: April 29 is the same day the $3,500 WPT Poker Showdown Championship holds its televised final table, making it a double-bill of competitive poker and community play under the same roof.

WPT Meet Up Games have become a signature part of the World Poker Tour's live event calendar, giving recreational players the chance to sit alongside poker media personalities and ambassadors in a friendly, lower-stakes environment. The format originated with Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme before the WPT formalized it as an official series offering.

The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown runs April 8 through April 28, with the WPT Showdown Championship Day 1 flights beginning April 24. The Championship carries a $3 million guarantee off a $3,500 buy-in, and its final six players return on April 29 for the televised final table - the same evening as the Meet Up Game.

Dunst, who serves as a lead commentator and ambassador for the World Poker Tour, is a regular presence at WPT stops. Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood is one of the premier poker destinations in the southeastern United States and has hosted WPT events for multiple consecutive years, including last year's Showdown where Art Peacock won the Championship for $776,000.

No specific buy-in or registration details for the Meet Up Game have been announced yet. Players interested in participating are expected to follow WPT channels and Dunst's social media for further information as April 29 approaches.
