Guilbert has deep history in this specific event. He finished runner-up at the 2021 WSOP Europe Main Event - also held at King's Casino - taking home €789,031 but watching Czech player Josef Gulas Jr. claim the bracelet and the top prize of €1,276,712. That near-miss makes his current deep run in Prague carry extra weight.

The 2026 WSOP Europe Main Event drew 2,617 entries, building a total prize pool of €13,085,000. Day 1b chip leader Roberto Romanello bagged the largest stack after the opening flights, while other notables in the field included defending champion Daniel Pidun, 2018 WSOP Europe champion Jack Sinclair, and high-profile regulars like Ole Schemion. Guilbert himself bagged through Day 1b with 130,000 chips.

With 64 players remaining from the 242 who bagged through to the late stages, the money is already guaranteed. The final table - and the bracelet - remain the target. Guilbert has over $3.3 million in recorded live tournament earnings according to WSOP.com, and a Prague title would be the defining result of his career.

CoinPoker, which sponsors Guilbert, has team representation across the series. The event is co-organized by GGPoker and runs under the WSOP Europe banner at King's Casino, Europe's largest poker room.
