The lineup and the opponents
The full lineup was not disclosed at publication. HCL regular Nik Airball, who describes himself as the 'King of LA,' is a natural opponent for Negreanu. Airball once said ahead of his February clash with Kristen Foxen, 'tourney players all suck, this is free money if I ever seen it.' Foxen booked a $17,100 winning session in a $399,900 pot in that appearance.

Alongside the HCL debut, Negreanu also announced he will stream the final ten days of the 2026 WSOP Online from August 16 to September 29 on GGPoker, opening with the $10,000 PLO event and calling PLO his 'jam.'
