David K. Lappin is an Irish professional poker player, podcaster, commentator, and writer based in Malta. He turned professional in 2006 after a background in screenwriting and philosophy, achieving nearly $1 million in live tournament earnings with his biggest cash of €81,000 from a 2009 Full Tilt Poker Series Barcelona deal. Co-host and producer of the award-winning The Chip Race podcast with Dara O'Kearney, he recently won the 2025 PokerStars Live League to become a PokerStars Team Pro ambassador.
