Dario Sammartino is an Italian professional poker player born in Naples on April 5, 1987. He learned 5-Card Draw from his father and began playing competitively around 2005 in Italian poker clubs and online as Madgenius87 on PokerStars. His career highlights include a runner-up finish in the 2019 WSOP Main Event for $6,000,000 and winning his first WSOP bracelet in 2024 in a $2,500 Mixed Omaha Hi-Lo/Stud Hi-Lo event for $222,703. He has over 200 live tournament cashes and leads Italy's all-time money list.
